FIPS CARES: These Dudes Don't Wanna Live in a Frat House Anymore
FIPS cares! (really...we do).
Ok everyone, listen up! We have some more FIPS CARES community assignments. Why the fuck should you care? Cause maybe we'll be helping your ass next.
"No less than three of my neighborly friends and I are looking for a cleaning person for our barely-to-moderately disheveled Park Slope apartments. Surely our fellow residents know of a thorough, reasonably priced, trustworthy cleaning person in the area. But so far we've got nothing."
Here's the deal: they're all in the N. Slope, and 2 out of 3 of these dudes are looking for a semi-regular set up.
This one should be easy: who has got some great/trustworthy/BK housekeepers to recommend? Leave us a comment or send us an email.
ALSO: we are still looking for an apartment for our adorable hipster couple. We got a couple of rad tips (such as RSS'ing "Park Slope" on Twitter) but they are still on the hunt.
We've got some more requests coming up, so stay tuned. Cause do you get it yet?? "Yes We Can" if we work together...FIPS Cares!

Sorry - meant to say "Ours does a weekly cleaning..."
I'm surprised no one's commented on how this works yet.
Hire a maid service from the phone book.
Make a remark when they're done (and you've paid through the nose) that you wish you could do this more often or something to the effect of you'd like to see them again but not at these prices.
If you liked her, bingo, there's your new cleaning woman. Much less expensive than the service and just as good if not better. Our does a weekly cleaning and every so often brings her sister for a much more intensive cleaning.
There's an agency called Si Se Puede (or We Can Do it) that is a women's collective cleaning agency. I haven't used them myself, but the reviews and the karma are good.
