Uhm, so does this officially end the Bagel Hole vs. Terrace Bagels debate??
According to Gothamist, (who did a lil research with the health department):
Terrace Bagels was closed on Monday, February 2 following a routine annual inspection that found a vermin infestation. An estimated 40 rat droppings and approximately 170 mice droppings were found in five different areas of the establishment, including food storage areas in the basement and kitchen.

No, no, NO!!! Why did you tell me this? I went for a bagel yesterday to find them shut and was so confused. This morning I saw them with a huge garbage dump outside, hauling things out of the basement. I figured they were just remodeling...but this. God, does this mean I never eat Terrace again?
I was pretty grossed out to hear this considering the number of Terrace bagels I've consumed over the years, but that shit was getting too pricey. They needed to get knocked down a peg.
