Who Gives A Shit: Do You Blog?
So Brooklyn Based, Brokelyn and I had our very first #bkblogs event last night, and I gotta say: shit was pretty off the friggin hook!
Hundreds of BK's best, brightest and bloggiest descended on the Bell House to network, get drunk, eat Lobster rolls from the Red Hook Lobster Pound, cupcakes from Robicelli's, and rock out with their co...oh, never mind.
Anyway.
Here's just *some* of what went down:
- @MikeTRose from TUAW brought his iPad and had a sea of Apple groupies gathered around him all night (NICE move dude!).
- @stfuparents, @karynmurph @saveassistants and I all formed a band: 4-non Preggers.
- Dorothy from @Jauntsetter came up with this killer idea for an Italian club! (let's do it!).
- @theambershow figured out that a @robicellis cupcake is only 5 points by plugging in all of the ingredients to our WW iPhone app (YESSSSS!).
- @hipgirls chatted everyone up, despite the fact that she had a deadline tomorrow morn...FOR HER UPCOMING BOOK (yay!).
- @DimaM came out of the closet as FOREIGN DUDE (i.e. the writer of the FIPS post that got this whole Gorilla Coffee coverage started)
- @robertgorrell made me laugh my ass off, as per U.
- @theskint did not hang out in any dark corners of the room.
- @ninedaves pitched me a killer idea for a new FIPS column (coming soon to a blog near you THIS BLOG).
- I met the dude from @levysuniqueny and decided we need to set up a FIPS tour pronto!
- @amyblogschow rolled through and gave me a "drive by hug."
- Met some old and new outside.in friends (INSIDE).
So yeah: I met sooo many killer new bloggin peeps (though I *still* didn't meet enough of your asses!) and generally just had a blast. But more than that, I think we totally confirmed that: Yes, Brooklyn *is* the bloggiest borough.
I'd def like to start doing these meetups on the regular, so stay tuned for more scoop about the next one!
So our question(s) for you today is(are): Do you blog? If so, why? And how? And is it worth it? And do you enjoy it? And would you recommend it to others?
Fuck all that anon privacy shit today...link us to your blog loudly and proudly below so that we can see what we're dealing with here (and get your ass some CLICKS)!

Blogging has been the method I've chosen to lift the veil on the fraud, schemes, back room deals, blight and political motives involving. the real estate in Central Brooklyn neighborhoods.
And to make a lot of noise in the process.
Hopefully its making a difference in some closeted real estate junkies lives.
Dealing food for thought to keep them hooked.
