Where Park Slopers Are *Really* Eating
IMAGE VIA PARK SLOPE LENS
Ok, so we're gonna drop the results of our Best of Park Slope polls very soon, but in the meantime, peep a list of all the Park Slope restaurants where all your asses are actually eating.
It's kind of shocksville.
Money management tool Bundle.com just released a new feature that allows you to see the restaurants, bars and shops that people are spending money in your neighborhood, based on ACTUAL bank records.
"Bundle uses Citibank's database to analyze credit card transactions by merchant- so they see which restaurant someone eats at the most , how much they spend there, and how often they come back. They compare this information with other transactions on the same credit card to look at which shops this same person frequents (as well as how much they spend there), and which salon this person frequently gets their haircut at."
Here are the top 10 Park Slope restaurants according to bundle.com:
- Suki Sushi - Hunh? What?
- Szechuan Delight - jaysus ppl, go to Hunan or Red Hot.
- Yamato - never had it but hear its good.
- Ten - ditto.
- La Village - This is La Villa! Did you know it was actually called La Village? Me neither!
- Jpan - you complete me.
- Johnny Mack's - ok. Decent burger.
- El Continental - why have I never eaten at this place?
- Hunan Delight - Chinese perfection.
- Park Slope Ale House - I'm into the fried pickle hurr.
And just cause I can't resist: 11. is Peppino's, 12. is Provini and 13. is Pizza fucking Plus.
Ok, so yes, I get that not everyone uses citibank (I don't), but still: this info is pretty damn interesting. Cause while we all might love the shit outta Al di La, when push comes to shove, we're picking up the phone and ordering Szuchuan Delight. Or you are at least...I still got nothing but love for Hunan.
