WHAT'S UP WITH ALL THE PLANE NOISE?

We've talked about overhead plane noise mannnnny times before on the ole blahg, but all the sudden chatter is up to a fever pitch again. We're getting daily inquiries now about WTF is up with all the additional plane noise?!

Most of our FIPS readers have been penning their inquiring missives from the S. Slope. And this morn we heard from someone who told us that it's not only planes...it's helicopter noise too. 

"Since this past weekend, there's been a ridiculous amount of noise pollution above our neighborhood. [Yesterday] morning, a helicopter, that sounded like it was just hovering directly over us for five minutes, woke me at 6:20 am. I despise helicopters. That's one reason why I would never move to LA. This makes me want to move, although otherwise I love this area. Quality of life could go down. Does anyone know what's happening?"

Anyone else noticing this sudden influx of jet engine/chopter copter mishegas? I mean, the Barclays Center, killer raccoons AND plane noise!?!? Park Slope is going to hell in a granny cart.

Hurry up and fill us in before this dude packs up and moves to La La land.
