I must respectfully disagree. When I rode the Q all year last year, it was full of people and I never got to sit, it was overrun by vagrants who slept in the cars, and waiting for trains at night sucked even more than waiting for the F train past 10 PM. The only saving grace of the Q was its proximity to Atlantic Avenue, where you could get an express train to almost anywhere.
While the bridge view is breathtaking, I do not miss the Q one ioda.
In theory, I love the IDEA of the Q. It is a fast train...when it doesn't stop on the track 600 times...which it does...EVERY DAY. I never, ever, ever, ever get a seat and I've ridden that motherfucker at all hours of the day and night. People sit HARD on the Q, know what I mean? Those mofos are jus like: "I had to kill 4 people and donate some plasma to get this seat, so I am NOT moving." I was once on the Q and some bitch fainted...I'm talking on the ground. Nobody even flinched. I had to say to some dude: "sir, would you mind getting up for this woman who just fainted????" cause he was just sitting there staring.
Ok, so maybe this shit isn't the Q's fault per se...and people are just rude. BUT also there are never enough Q trains running during rush hour. So take note MTmotherfuckingA.
you people are nuts. the Q is my bitch (and in a good way). it's extremely reliable -- in fact it's hardly ever out of commission for the weekend and comes fairly frequently throughout the day and night.
the 2/3 is waaaay worse for homeless people on it.

I like the view on the N train better.
