Premiere Episode of New Web Series F to the 7th

Here at FiPS HQ we are huge fans of Ingrid Jungermann's web series The Slope (the Beacon's Closet episode is hee-larious), and now we are super-psyched to share the premiere of her new spin-off, F to the 7th. In "Off Leash Hours," Ingrid  is caught in the middle as Ben (Michael Showalter) and Allen (Isaiah Stokes) compete over their "gifted" dogs in a way that puts Park Slope parents to shame. 

FiPS' Favorite Local WEb Series The Slope Starts Kickstarter for Spin-off

If you're a big fan of THE SLOPE web series like I am, you'll probably want to check out this Kickstarter Campaign for the production of a spin-off series called F TO 7TH, which was created by Ingrid Jungermann, one half of the series' funny female duo. The series, which will premiere on January 7th, includes a cast of Michael Showalter, Gaby Hoffman, Ashlie Atkinson and Ann Carr. Not too shabby.

According to Jungermann, the F to 7th is about "Ingrid's descent into stupid middle age. Judgmental as ever, Ingrid is stuck somewhere between FTM and PSP as she struggles to find herself in a world where sexuality and gender have left her old-fashioned lesbianism behind." They have just 9 days to go, so if you can throw some money their way, please do!

I sure have.

In fact, I love the two women who make this show so much that I actually clam up when I see either one of them walking around the neighborhood, much like that one time John Turturro sat three feet away from me in a near-empty Prospect Park early one morning and it was like that scene in Stand By Me when Gordie is alone on the railroad tracks and suddenly sees a deer and realizes how beautiful nature is and how fucked up life can be and he cries a little, and then the movie ends with River Phoenix waving goodbye to his friends and it's creepy as shit because he's dead.

What just happened?

Right. The Slope.
