Those are some brave-ass people, folks.

Happy Halloween, FiPSTERS! Did you dress up for work today (if so, were you the only one)? What's the most creative costume you've seen this year (mine: a dude wearing only underwear, which had a small potato tied to the front of it, and a single angel wing strapped to his right shoulder. What was he? A "right-winged dictator." HEYYO!)

Open Thread: What Did You Do Over The Warm Weekend?

August is when we REALLY start collectively bitching about the heat. "Ugh," we gripe, while wiping the sweat from the cleft of our ass cracks. "I'm so ready for it to be fall." When the weather starts to get chilly and the light jackets and scarves are brought out, we start to miss the summer. We long for the beach, and regret not seeing more outdoor movies at Bryant Park.

And so we get SO FUCKING EXCITED when it hits 80 in October! And we thank the summer for coming back for one last hoorah, even if we were bitching about it only a few months ago. 

I spent Saturday scrambling to secure a studio apartment that I'm pretty sure I won't get, and on Sunday I wandered around Cobble Hill and did some window peeping to further fuel my ongoing status anxiety.  

How did you spend the warm weekend? Did you spend it at Bernie's?
