L Magazine Uses Math To Name Park Slope The 2nd Best Brooklyn Neighborhood to live in
"WE'RE NUMBER TWO!" - chanted no one, ever.
In what they call a "mathematically foolproof system," The L Magazine has ranked the top 13 most "livable neighborhoods in Brooklyn," naming Park Slope the second most desirable in the borough, beat only by Fort Greene SLASH Clinton Hill.
Though the magazine's "math" still seems to be a matter of personal opinion, they did put in the leg work of ranking each neighborhood on a scale of 1-10 based on the following criteria (Park Slope's #'s included below):
access: 7
affordability: 4
greenspace: 9
culture: 7
food: 7
nightlife: 6
architecture: 9
I think it's the affordability aspect that did us in... Also, Williamsburg came in 6th place. Suck it, Bburg.
