Lobo Closed By the DOH

Looks like Lobo's Park Slope location has been shut down by the DOH. When I phoned this morning a man answered and confirmed that they were closed, but said they might open later tonight (can restaurants schedule new inspections that quickly? Hot damn).

The Dram Shop Closed by the DOH Until At Least Monday

This morning when one of our writers passed The Dram Shop, she noticed that it had been slapped with an all too familiar yellow, YOU'VE BEEN SHUT THE FUCK DOWN BY THE DOH flyer. The joint has already done some damage control, posting the above letter on their front door letting patrons know what's going on. 

Di Fara's Has Reopened Uh-gain

Last week, Di Fara's Pizza was shut down by the DOH for presumably the gajillionth time. They were cited 67 violation points, which included the discovery of -- AND I QUOTE -- crowds of mice in the kitchen. All I can do to keep myself from gagging a little is to imagine that each and every one was Patton Oswalt in Ratatouille.

The joint reopened this past Wednesday.
