Brad Lander To Lowe's: Fuck You.

If any of you are on New York City Councilmember Brad Lander's email list, you no doubt received a message over the weekend about how much he fucking haaaaates Lowe's these days. The big chain hardware store recently pulled their ads from the TV show All-American Muslim and Lander. Is. Pissed. Here's what he had to say:

Big box home improvement chain Lowe's attaches the tagline "Never Stop Improving" to its television ads. But this week, Lowe's corporate self-improvement efforts ground to a halt when it caved to pressure from an anti-Muslim organization and pulled its advertising from the reality show "All-American Muslim," which depicts the lives of five families in Dearborn, Michigan.

Councilmember Brad Lander Speaks Out on BK Attacks

Brooklyn's recent string of sexual attacks against women have prompted multiple petitions, free self defense classes, a Take Back the Night Rally and pah-lenty of outrage from our borough's residents. Is the NYPD doing enough to keep our ladies safe? After hearing recent accounts from victims in which the police come across as inattentive, most of our commenters say nein.
