RUMORSVILLE: TERROIR PARK SLOPE COMING TO GREAT LAKES SPACE?

Man, I hope this one is true.
A FIPS reader alerted us that he has it on good authority that Marco Canora, of Hearth, Terroir and Terroir Tribeca fame, not to mention Iron Chef fame, cookbook writer fame and James Beard award nominee fame, is planning to open an outpost of his Terroir wine bar in the recently vacated Great Lakes space.
Terroir has received all sorts of awards including Best New Wine Bar from Time Out NY, Best Wine Bar from NY Magazine, "50 Best New Restaurants in the USA" from Travel & Leisure, as well as a 1 star rating from the New York Times.
"Chef, restaurateur, and cookbook author, Marco Canora has been doing his part to promote delicious, simple and healthful food that he believes is everyone’s birthright. Since 1996, his cuisine has earned critical acclaim and his Italian-inflected cooking has been hailed as some of the finest this side of the Atlantic."
He's also not above playing Rage Against the Machine in his kitchen. Rad.
Our tipster was unsure of timing, but said that as far as he could tell, this Terroir sitch seemed like it was moving forward. We reached out to Cantanora to see if we could get some scoop, but have not heard anything back as of yet.
Just to get your asses even more in a frenzy, here's what the Terroir Tribeca menu looks like:
And the wine/beer menu is right here (download PDF).
FINGERS CROSSED HARD.
