[Review'd]: David's Tea on 7th Avenue

Guys, it's freezing outside, and there are only so many soy lattes you can drink before your eyes stop blinking all together. Luckily, there's a new place in town to warm your cockles with a spot of tea. David's Tea on the corner of 7th Avenue and 4th Street offers a plethora of tea options served hot or cold for $3 flat.

Though there is a place to sit and drink your tea inside the store, David's Tea is really more for enjoying at home. Their meager lounge area leaves much to be desired, like comfy chairs and tasty tea sandwiches. On the plus side though, the corner window view is great for people watching.

You can take home as little as 0.3 oz of any of their loose teas. David's Tea also sells adorable tea kettles, thermo mugs and variety packs. They have a nice selection of tea sets for gifting and delicious holiday flavors. After sampling a few of them, I can report that the Santa's Secret tea has candy candy bits sprinkled in a mix of peppermint and black tea leaves, which created a surpring sweetness. Merry Cranberry is a mix of cranberry, apple, green tea and cinammon. It's fitting for the season without being cloying.

David's Tea accepts all major credit cards with no minimum charge, with the exception of Discover.

Have you stopped by David's Tea? Let us know your thoughts!

You'll want a cup of Santa's Secret. Trust.

So many tea options, so little time.

These bushy "tail" mugs are available for $9.50.

I want, nay, need one of those blue teapots.
