Queen Bey and Bebe Spotted in Park Slope!

Park Slope is no stranger to celebrity, the laundry list of stars who call this neighborhood home is enough to desensitize any Sloper to the effects of star struckanosus. Although I'm still yet to see Pstew and when I do, I'm not quite sure what I'll do. I know it will be awkward and embarrassing. 

But when Beyonce comes to the hood, the rules change a little bit. 

According to Enstarz and Vibe, Beyonce was taking a break from the U.S. leg of  The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour to hang out with the "baby who shall remain faceless" Blue Ivy in Park Slope. First the megastar was seen donning a balloon hat outside of the farmer's market on 5th Ave like so:

One could only assume that the park Blue Ivy and Mommy were then hanging out in was JJ Bryne Park but that has not been confirmed or denied. Nor will it be since, I doubt anyone will be a doing an in-depth expose on Beyonce's Sunday afternoon in Park Slope (except for me apparently). The pics were first tweeted by New York Times, Op Ed columnist and Park Sloper Charles M. Blow when his daughter noticed the duo at the park. Blow tweeted: "Daughter just came in the house breathless. Saw Beyonce and Blue Ivy in the kiddie park down the street." 

You FIPS'ters may also recall that Beyonce and BI were spotted in Prospect Park last March. This all begs the question: Why? Do the Carter's have a little something something in the neighborhood. I tried to do some digging and found a post from Brooklynian that Beyonce and Jay-Z bought something in the Richard Meier building back in 2007 but there was literally nothing mentioned about it after that. Sure, her sister Solange lives nearby in Carroll Gardens, but it doesn't seem like she was with her yesterday. Does anyone have intel?
