Park Slopers park their asses on Park(ing) Day

Happy belated Park(ing) Day, ya'll! Parking Day was Friday, folks, and in true Park Slope fashion, people spent it outside enjoying the (Astro) turf. Started in 2005, the movement to temporarily alter parking spots into park spots has become a worldwide event. As of Monday morning, Parking NYC hasn't updated its flickr with this year's creative uses of curbside space, but here's a pic of Slopers parked outside the Connecticut Muffin on 7th Avenue.
