More Details About The Chilean Red Lovin' Crazy Lady at Franny's

Since we posted yesterday about Friday night's alarming incident at Franny's, two more eyewitness accounts came our way:

I am happy to see someone report on the Hook Lady at Franny's. I was there, stuck in a corner, and it was TERRIFYING. She threw a managers purse with her hook, threw a bar stool, and threw a glass. It's when she proclaimed to love playing with knives and that it was going to get messy, did everyone start to hunker down, hide in closets, and get under tables. Our part of the restaurant was not able to escape. Perhaps the most terrifying Friday the 13th ever. Also, side note, the woman was the size of Queen Latifah, and her hook was at least an inch and a half diameter. At one point she stood, with her hook in the air like the Statue of Liberty, scream asking if we thought she was crazy. Crazy was an understatement. She was the stuff of horror movies.

I was at Franny's Friday night when the insane hook lady went berserk. My party was sitting on the other side of the wood divider parallel to the bar when it started. We couldn't see her but saw stools flying and heard glass breaking. She kept screaming about Chilean red wine and threatened to stab everyone. It lasted roughly 7 terrifying minutes until she stormed out on her own. Thankfully no one was hurt. The police remained outside for some time after the scene was over, so I assume she was arrested. I hope she was. It was quite scary.

I should state that the Franny's staff (front of the house and kitchen) acted incredibly professional and didn't miss a beat. They still managed to serve our perfectly cooked pizzas shortly after the incident, and the waitstaff apologized profusely despite just being through a seriously traumatic event. I cannot stress enough how well it was handled given the intensity of the situation.
