Is Your Block "Chill" Or "Alpha" When It Comes To Alternate Side?

Image via Brownstoner.comPark Slope-ers are nothing if not obsessed with Alternate Side Parking. From a FiPS reader this morning:
"I normally do the alternate side dance on my own block, but for reasons that are too boring to go into here, I ended up double-parking on a different block this morning. The alternate side times on this block were the same as on my own -- from 9:10-10:30 -- so imagine my surprise when I went back to move my car at 10:15, a full 15 minutes before the alternate side rules were over, and most of the double-parked cars had already been moved, and there was a lady screaming at me for being 'late.' I pointed out that I still had 15 mintues before I legally had to move my car back, and she continued to scream that EVERYBODY knows that you move your car by 10. WTF is up with that block? Is there a block by block personality change when it comes to alternate side parking?"
I did a survey of my small crew this morning, and from what I hear, 2nd Street between 8th and PPW is totally "Alpha," and 3rd Street between 5th and 6th is super "Chill." Tell us your block's personality in the comments.

If you double-park, visibly display your phone number on the dashboard :)
