Mr. and Mrs. G quietly moved in to their exhaustively rehabbed PPW manse, formerly haunted by Jennifer Connelly and Paul Bettany. They even handed out candy on Halloween and said I could show you the pictures on the condition that I never darken their doorstep respect their desire to fade into the proverbial woodwork from now on.

Here's a sneak peak at the house, designed by the firm David Howell Design. DH was very nice on email; from New Zealand; and willing to discuss The Piano and Whale Rider with me. The photos had me drooling just a bit and wishing I'd bought Google stock when I had the chance. I'm so very glad they got rid of that black living room and restored the miles of beautiful woodwork.
