Help a FiPS Reader Out: Does Anyone Else Hear Tribal Drumming On 8th Avenue?

A FiPS reader recently wrote in with a conun(drum) -- get it? Heyyoh!

Let's see if we, as a blog community, can solve it:

I was wondering if anyone else has commented on the late night tribal-style drumming? I can't seem to pinpoint the location, but I am on 1st Street near 8th Avenue. It's quick-paced, one note drumming that lasts anywhere from half an hour to an hour. It woke me up this morning at 5AM and heard it before I went to bed around 1AM, and it seems to be occurring more frequently.  Does anyone have any ideas regarding the source?
