HBO Series Filming On Eighth Ave Today

Was wondering what the fuck Boardwalk Empire was (as I've been seeing the signs all weekend). Thankfully, Here is Park Slope had all the scoop:

Helmed by Martin Scorsese and written by Sopranos alum Terrence Winter, Empire is about the rise of Atlantic City during the Prohibition era, and centers on a bootlegger named Nucky Johnson (played by Steve Buscemi).
