FiPS Readers Weigh In: The Case of the mysterious Police Car

Earlier this week, we here at FiPS headquarters were hunched over our typewriters, smoking hand-rolled cigs and doing other noir-ish things, when we received a telegraph from one of our readers:

Every weekday an unmarked police car sits on the corner of 7th ave and garfield place and pulls over countless motorists. Considering all the real crime occurring all around us (see numerous park slope rape attempts) it kinda sucks that we have this douchey glorified ticket agent wreaking havoc on our beloved avenue.

I sent a note attached to the foot of a carrier pigeon back to our tipster and asked if he knew why people were being pulled over, or if he himself had ever been busted on this corner. The trail went dry. We never heard from him again. We can only assume that he's pushing daisies (or sitting down by the Gowanus Canal waiting for Whole Foods to be built).

Has anyone else fallen victim to this undercover cop? Come forward in the comments.
