FIPS CARES: This Little Guy Still Needs a Home!

Back in March we posted a piece on this adorable pup named Chino, whose owner was facing eviction lest she find him a new home. Since our posting he's been fostered by a lovely woman named Hillary, but this pooch still needs a permanent abode.

To refresh:

- He's an American Staffordshire terrier, about a year old.

- He's house trained and HAS been fixed.

From his foster mom, Hillary:

"We had a trainer come work with him, she said he doesn't have an aggressive bone in his body but he does need leadership. He wants to please so badly and will do anything you want if you have a treat. Initially I thought he'd need a very active owner but have changed my mind, he isn't as rambunctious as I thought and likes to hang out on the couch playing with a toy too. He is great with other dogs, there's a video of him
playing with our friends dog, Iman. He's pretty good with cats, he did live with one but I can see him chasing them a little. I think that's something that can be worked with though, he really is a sweetheart and loves to cuddle. He would do really well with another playful dog. He wants to play with other dogs all the time, I think he's finally getting to have his puppyhood."

Hillary will be holding an Adoption Event this Saturday 5/14 and next Saturday, 5/21  from 12PM-6PM at:

Rocco and Jezebel
89 Pineapple Walk
Between Cadman Plaza West and Henry Street
718-855-8686
