FIPS Bell House Event: The Wonder City Launch Party & Artsy Types Meet-Up

Are you a comic book creator? Do you have a nerd-erific love for graphic novels? 

FIPS, along with Bergen Street Comics and Kickstarter, is sponsoring The Wonder City Book Release Party and Comic Creator Meet-Up at The Bell House next Wednesday, June 29th @ 7PM. Admission is FREE!

A work in progress for 5 years, The Wonder City is the first volume in a graphic novel series that intertwines the secret mythology of New York City with a centuries-old mystery. It was also a successfully-funded Kickstarter project, so creators Justin Rivers (A FIPS contributor!) and Courtney Zell will be in attendance to say thank you in person for making the book a reality. Copies of The Wonder City will be available at the party! 

Not a comic book nerd? Not a problem! You should still come by and have a beer (or three) and meet some local creative types! Plus, you can win some cool shit, like a custom-made bike rack from Brooklyn-based Gowanus Furniture Company and other great prizes. Lastly, Lush Comics will be on hand to sign you up for turning your comics into ipad and iphone apps.
