Detroit Is The New Brooklyn...

... so says this article I found on PBS.org. I've never been to Detroit. But I was looking to watch that Miss Marple episode from last week's Masterpiece Mystery (which kicked ass, BTW), and found this puppy.

The long and the short of it: Detroit is quickly going from one of America's Most Miserable Cities to America's Best Places to Do Business and because rents are low all those youngsters looking for an authentic frontier urban experience are flooding in scouting out where they'll be putting beer gardens. Go West Hipsters!
