Dear Barclay's Center Rendering Artist

Dear Barclay’s Center Rendering Artist,

I don’t know how to break this to you gently, so I’ll just say it: your renderings are TERRIBLE. Ssh…shh…it’s okay; please don’t be sad. I’m telling you this because I want to help you. If people keep pretending this stuff looks good, you will never improve.

First, I think you should know that when you are making a rendering, you have the ability to make it look as awesome as possible. This isn’t real life; it’s life how you want it to be! That being said, let's have a look at your valiant efforts:

Is this a rendering of what the Barclay’s Center will look like if you’re squinting? And why is the grass on your shitty little island in front of the building half dead? It doesn’t make any sense.

Is this what it will look like if you’re really surprised…or if someone is pulling your eyelids open like they did to that guy in A Clockwork Orange?

Is the Barclay’s Center also a spaceship? Is this what it looks like when it just landed or when it’s about to take off? (Also, your grass appears to be dying more as the pictures go on, I guess it might have to do with the atmosphere in space).

Are you able to beam people up to the sky like in Star Trek and other movies where people can be beamed from place to place with beams like this beam that you have here beaming outside of the building?

BCRA, I think we both know that none of the answers to these questions are “yes," in which case the only conclusion here is that you just did a VERY BAD JOB. Like a really, REALLY bad job. So bad that I can’t even believe that anyone let this be an example of anything that they were trying to get anyone to actually want to happen.

*Phew* Glad I got that off my chest. I hope that I was not too hard on you and that my honesty today will help you in your future endeavors.

Sincerely,

Jessica

PS – Please don’t ever become a tattoo artist.
