Cool Or Not Cool: nannies faking their accents in front of bitchy, Park Slope employers?

Hot damn, is this one juicy. An anonymous FiPS reader just sent us this account of a nanny who totally blew her Mrs. Doubtfire-like cover while noshing on a $5 Footlong:

"Earlier today I went to the Subway in Atlantic Center near Target (I was desperately hungry after my shopping) and totally overheard a nanny using a fake Caribbean accent while on the phone with her employer. As soon as she got off the phone she started bitching to her friend about how awful her boss was IN A VERY BROOKLYN-SOUNDING ACCENT."

So the question we have to ask is, Faking Geographic Credentials: Cool or not cool?
