Cool Or Not Cool: Letting Your Kids Eat On The Subway?
Obnoxious kids in bars & eateries are one thing. But how about those families who choose to have the kiddos eat their meals on public transportation? What could go wrong, you might ask? Just witness the unfurling disaster in the above photo. Last Sunday, this familial unit's Happy Meals and 2 dropped coffees explode all over a Brooklyn-bound F Train.
And did they attempt to clean it up? Heck no. They just moved to different seats while fries floated on milky lava toward the feet and packages of fellow travelers. Eating on trains is already a debatable and sometimes fight-inducing practice in N.Y. -- but turning a train into your own mosh pit dining car is a special kind of rude.
Kids have to eat. I get that. But should they be allowed to eat on the subway, especially if you don't have the means to clean up any messes they might make?
I ain't lovin it. But what do you think?
