The Wall Street Journal reports on the new trend of Coffee Shops limiting laptop use to off hours, and bouncing anyone who tries to plug-in. The general drift of this new perkless movement is: "you assholes spend $2 on a cup of coffee and then sit your fat ass here for 8 hours using our wifi and electricity--this is why I'm about to file bankruptcy" (paraphrased, of course).
Naidre's, Cafe Grumpy and the Cocoa Bar are all featured in the article.
As someone who has sat MY fat ass P-L-E-N-T-Y of times for hours on end at the Tea Lounge, after purchasing a lone cuppa hot apple cider, I gotta say: I kind of see their point.
But who the fuck cares about me---what do you bitches think? Cool or not cool?
