Bike Wars: You Just Got un-Served Your Subpeonas

Wassah!! Someone with a sense of humor other than myself has decided to throw their collective helmets in the PPW bike lane ring. Brownstoner recently reported that two new Pro-bike lane groups have formed. And get this! They've played off the lame names of the PPW bike lane opponents, calling themselves Neighbors For Better Neighbors (NFBN) and Seniors For Civility (SFC). The two new groups propose to counteract the batshit crazy witchhunt tactics of Neighbors for Better Bike Lanes (NBBL) and Seniors for Saferty (SFS).

According to Street Blog New York City, this formation comes after the Brooklyn Supreme Court Justice, Bert Bunyun, urged the Plaintiff attorney's Gibson Dunn and Jim Walden to stop "this harrassing strategy" of subpeoning people because the city, wait for it, had to take a restraining order out on them. Oh snap! And guess what? They withdrew all the subpeonas.  Sweet Jesus, I love this shit.  Can we please get a reality show going on this?
