These Red Velvet Pancakes From Brooklyn Commune Require a Side of Insulin

I wouldn’t bill Windsor Terrace as a culinary destination. As much as I love living here, the neighborhood is not necessarily rife with amazing things to eat. So when something wondrously tasty does show up it is all the more of a mitzvah.
 
The wonderfully out of place Brooklyn Commune (on the corner of Greenwood Ave and Prospect Avenue) is a god send. Not only is it one of the sole providers of healthy, gluten-free and vegan delights to be found in the area; it is très delicious. And now Founder and Head Chef, Christopher Scott, has developed what I consider his pièce de résistance: Red Velvet Pancakes.

Yeah. Soak it in.
