An Ode to Root Hill Burger's Garbanzo Poppers

We were hit hard by the news yesterday that Root Hill Burger is shutting its doors. Sure, there are plenty of other burger joints in our hood, but none of them had The Garbanzo Poppers that kept me going back to Root Hill.
I saw these things on the menu, and I thought, 'Huh? did someone stuff a garbanzo bean with cheese and then deep fry it?' But turns out that Garbanzo Poppers and Jalapeño Poppers are two completely different animals. Also, Garbanzo Poppers are totally a thing that exists, which I did not know until I ordered them at RHB.
Roasted Garbanzo Beans can allegedly be healthy, but I have a sneaking suspicion that these were fried. I don't care. They were tossed in honey, I think, so they were kinda sweet, but they served it with a preserved lemon yogurt on the side, and I really think that the yogurt is what made the whole side dish come together.
I loved you Root Hill Burger Garbanzo Poppers!
Does anyone know of another place in the neighborhood that serves up these tasty morsels?
