Almondine Puts 9th Street location up for rent, raises funds to repair Hurricane-destroyed DUMBO shop

Earlier this year, Hervé Poussot's Almondine bakery and patisserie was hit hard by Hurricane Sandy. The kitchen of the DUMBO shop, located on Water Street, was completely flooded and is in need of some serious renovations. More recently, Poussot has put the bakery's 9th Street location up for rent, and while that location is surely dead and gone, there is hope for the DUMBO shop. A fundraising campaign has been set up to help repair the extensive damage, and so far, they've raised almost $25,000 of their $200K goal.

Will you guys miss the 9th Street location, or are you looking forward to seeing something new in the space?
