Overheard at Save on Fifth (i.e. one of the best stores in Park Slope and/or, perhaps, the entire United States of America):
"Stay warm. How's the year so far?"
"Very good, thank you. Hope the same for you!"
"Everything's good. Hey, do you miss Bush?"
"Not a bit!"
"Me neither." [Gives me Obama fist pump.]

Love those guys. They're cool with dogs and they always say something nice to my daughter.
Agreed! The guys who run the place always give a friendly greeting at the door, and they bend over backwards to help me find what I need.
This place became my "go-to store" for basic apartment necessities after I discovered how bad the A.T. Target sucked!
This place ROCKS!!
Those guys are awesome. I bought a cupcake tray from there recently and they asked what I was baking, I'm so gay I brought them cupcakes, which they liked.
I hope DII (or whatever that tragic place is called) does not ruin their business. Cause I will kick some DII ass... (trying to man up a bit after the baking gayety).
I don't think D&D will affect them, since they don't have the same stuff. Save on Fifth is like Target, except it doesn't suck. I just got a George Foreman there for $15.
