WTF photo of the day (week…month…YEAR!)

Gothamist first reported yesterday that this goat head was found near Lincoln Road in Prospect Park, referring to similar incidents occurring in years past, and indicated a possible reason for it:
[They] are generally assumed to be part of Santeria rituals—animal sacrifice often commemorates "life events" like birth, marriage and death. While it is constitutional for practitioners of Santeria to sacrifice animals, the law requires remains be properly discarded, which does not mean flinging them on the ground for discovery by area children chasing soccer balls or couples posing for wedding photos.
Yes, please, if you have to decapitate goats to celebrate your life events, kindly do something other than leave them lying around Prospect Park. Oh, but it gets even better today! Gothamist heard from a self-described priest of "African Traditional Religions," who indicated that leaving the goat parts all over the place like this was more than just disrespectful:
The main reason is that if the body is disposed of instead of consumed, that means that negative energies were absorbed by it, therefore, anyone else coming in contact with it, such as kids, are now able to pick up the possible energies.
SUCH AS KIDS. There are lots of kids in Park Slope! And they go to the park A LOT. Next time you see a kid being a little asshole, perhaps it's because they absorbed the dark forces coming off one of these dead goats. It's like all the nightmares I ever had from watching Poltergeist, Pet Sematary and American Horror Story all rolled into one!
And look, more creepy pictures of goat parts!
On the other hand, Daily Intelligencer posits another explanation for all of it: "...we're thinking viral marketing for theTrue Detective finale."
