Woman robbed at gunpoint at 7th Ave. Chase ATM (Allegedly)

I was just at the Chase Bank on 7th Ave and Carroll Street. I was standing near the entrance, waiting for someone to take me down to my safe deposit box, when a woman moved past me and shakily said to the bank greeter, "a woman just held me up at gunpoint for $1000." As in, she was standing at one of the lobby ATMs and a woman went up to her with a gun and made her withdraw $1000 from her account. At 2:30 p.m. Bank filled with people. Broad daylight. So. Fucked. Up.

The bank people quickly escorted her to the back, and the police arrived shortly thereafter. The woman seemed very shaken, and who could blame her? I was shaking. After doing what I needed to do at the bank, I moved on to PhotoFaction, and while standing there, a guy came in and said, "Someone got robbed at the Chase...again." Emphasis all mine. AGAIN?!
