Whole Foods Announces Rooftop Bar at Gowanus Location

The Whole Foods on Third and Third is going up faster than you can say "whole paycheck," and according to the signage, will be open by late 2013. That's soon! And according to Curbed, they've just announced that there will be a bar on the roof, called, um, The Roof, where you can grab one of the "16 beers on tap, plus seating on a rooftop deck with "a hyperlocal food menu" that includes cheeses, burgers, vegetarian, and vegan options." It's a good thing you can't get anything like that anywhere else in this neighborhood.

Who knows. Maybe it will be a really cool location and we'll all be tossing back Shiner Bocks and Left Hand Stouts atop the new fancy grocery store. See you there?
