Like are bed bugs a thing anymore??
Cause I pretty much hear nothing about those little fuckers. 2010 was the year of the bed bug, and things were still rolling pretty hardcore in 2011 too. Do you remember? It was pretty much all bed bugs, all the time, both on FIPS and on all the other NYC blogs and news outlets.
And since no one is talking about them anymore, I've sort of forgotten about them.
I was walking down 8th ave the other day and a book sitting out on someone's stoop caught my eye. I walked over to pick it up and read the back, and maybe 15 or 20 seconds passed by before the "PUT THAT FUCKING THING DOWN IMMEDIATELY OR YOUR CLOTHES WILL BE INFESTED WITH BED BUGS" message started running through my head.
So what's up, ppl? Are we in the clear? Or are bed bugs still a thing?
