What Next, Baby Bar Method?

"Are you ready to party yourself into shape? That’s exactly what the Zumba® program is all about. It’s an exhilarating, effective, easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired, calorie-burning dance fitness-party™ that’s moving millions of people toward joy and health." -- Zumba.com
Is your toddler carrying a little too much junk in the trunk? Does she need a workout with a little more oomph to help her work off all those chicken nuggets you've been feeding her? Is she tired of using your worn out S Factor DVDs? Is reading her Cosmo at bedtime, instead of Goodnight, Moon, just not doing enough to start the long journey toward body dysmorphia? Well, fret no more. Pura Vida Urban Fitness in Prospect Heights is offering Zumba for kids, ages 2-4. Sure, there are plenty of places in Park Slope to sign your child up for actual dance classses, but what's the point of merely having her learn beginning ballet, when she could be learning before all the other kids that her hips don't lie? I mean, come on, she's two, she's been walking for almost a year, it's time she started shaking that booty!
