Union Street Is A Death Trap

Can someone please tell me what the FUCK is going on with the sidewalk on Union Street!?

I dare you to walk up or down this street (between 7th and 8th aves in particular) and NOT trip on your smug, self-important Park Slope face. Every single solitary piece of pavement on that block is uneven with the piece of pavement RIGHT THE FUCK next to it.

HOW?

WHY?

Can someone skilled at historical research please explain this to me? Were the workers who put down the pavement in 18 fucking whatever high?  Was this some sort of intentional technique exercised by the founders of pslope to keep impatient, clumsy, non-vegans out of the neighborhood?

And don't give me that bullshit about concrete shifting with the hot and cold temperatures.  Because even if that's true, why is that street (on that particular block) so much worse than any other street!?

Trust me: unless you have a bugaboo (or some other 4-wheel drive all terrain vehicle), do NOT attempt to navigate your stroller down this block.  The poor coopretards that need to push their carts up and down that mofo should literally get an hour slashed off their monthly work quotas.  And don't even think about a wheelchair...that block is so friggin handicap INaccessible, its not even funny.

Forget about the fucking peanuts at Five Guys...I think Union Street may actually be the silent killer of Park Slope.
