The Smashing Pumpkins will Play the Barclays Center This Halloween
If you were an angsty teen in the mid 90's who doesn't give a shit that frontman Billy Corgan no longer plays with his original band, then this Halloween you may find yourself dressed in your wittiest costume and hanging out at the Barclays Center to watch The Smashing Pumpkins play.
The band recently announced their plans to play the giant wicker dome, which will include a 60-minute set of their latest album, Oceania, followed by some of their older hits (well, hopefully -- in a recent interview, Corgan was quoted as saying, "...if I feel like playing ‘em, I’ll fucking play ‘em.")
If you're not a Pumpkinhead, you can always catch The Who, Bob Dylan or Leonard Cohen, who will also play the Barclays Center later this year.
Tickets for The Smashing Pumpkins 10/31 show go on sale on 8/31 @ 10AM, and will run $50-$75/each.
