New local hot spot Talde hasn't even been open a month and already the owners are planning to bring Park Slope yet another food joint!
Park Slope Patch reports that the trio behind Talde -- Chef Dale Talde, John Bush and David Massoni -- will open up another restaurant in the space on 5th Avenue formerly occupied by Aunt Suzie's.
At the moment the guys are remaining mum on the deets, but did offer up the following:
“It will be the bar I want to drink, eat and do things at,” Bush said at Talde on Monday night. “I have this fantasy of getting off work here and going straight there.”
“It’s the place we are going to go hang out,” Massoni said, also at Talde on Monday night. “It’s going to be super, super, super, super casual.”
Do four "supers" equal flip flops? 'Cause if so, I'm THERE.
And what does Iren LoRe, former owner of Aunt Suzie's think of this? I mean, she was in that space for 25 years and continues to be the Executive Director of the Park Slope Fifth Avenue BID.
“I think they are great guys, they are all smart and energetic," she told Patch. "I think they’ll add to Fifth Avenue’s excitement,” We are excited by their three strengths: food, drink and management.”
We'll keep you posted as more details emerge!
