Team Pork Slope Dishes on Their Favorite Dive Bars in the Country

Wouldn't it be nice if we had a Paddy's Pub in Brooklyn?

Now that Team Talde has opened Pork Slope, their Road House-inspired bar, food blogs are curious to know where their inspiration came from (besides Patrick Swayze and his tight jeans). Of their six favorite dive bars, Pork Slope co-owners Dale Talde, John Bush and David Massoni have chosen two in Brooklyn: Two 8 Two Burger on Atlantic Ave and Farrell's Bar and Grill in Windsor Terrace.

They've also got recommendations for Chicago and Santa Cruz, so if you're heading that way in the near future and want a down and dirty place to go, give the whole thing a read.
