SXSW-n-Me

I've gone to Austin, Texas to eat breakfast tacos and get drunk at the SXSW Interactive Festival.

I'll be there until March 15th, and if you will be too, you should:

• come to the Squarespace Food Truck on the corner of 5th and Neches. Why? Cause there will be free amazing food there. Also, if you're an existing customer you can find me or any other Squarespace team members and we'll give you a free shirt.
• come to my sesh on March 15th and 12pm: How to Be A Badass Online. It should be particularly interesting as I'm not done with my presentation yet. I may actually barf on stage.
• come to the NYC Startup meetup on March 13th at the Parish. Lots of cool companies will be there and there will be beer. You can RSVP here.

Our FIPS writer whack pack will be taking over the blog while I'm away, so make sure to leave lots of snarky comments and, of course, throw in a few: "I HATE THIS SITE WHEN ERICA'S NOT HERE!"s for effect.

South by South Suggestions [My SXSWi 2010 Recap] [TMI]

So this shit has nothing to do with Park Slope...or BK. It has to do with me and shit that's going on in my life (i.e. I just went to the SXSW Interactive Conference and now have some things to say about it). So if you think you wanna keep things strictly Park Slope-y between us, move right along.

So, I'm back from the SXSW Interactive Conference. Spring Break for Geeks is what they call this insanity, and much like every other Tumblr to Book idea out there, I'm pretty angry that I didn't come up with that description myself…cause its pretty right the fuck on.

Over 15,000ish people descended on from March 12-16th, and in case you didn't notice the metric ton of #sxsw hashtagged tweets (mine included, thank you very much), blog posts, twit pics, or the way better AT&T service in NYC thanks to the fact that all our asses weren't there, that was what was up.
