The Sassy Curmudgeon's Subway Nemesis

Back in May we featured the Sassy Curmudgeon (real name: Una Lamarche) as part of our ongoing Profiles in Courage series. During that interview, the mommy-to-be and Managing Editor of the New York Observer spoke of her plans to give birth inside her Park Slope home:

"And no, I haven't told my neighbors. What do you say? I'll probably wrap my entire apartment in shrink wrap like Dexter, though, so maybe that will help to sound-proof. Also, my upstairs neighbors play a lot of Rock Band late at night, so the home birth just might be my surprise revenge."

Recently the SC took to her blog to share a finger-painted comic about an oh-so-familiar run-in with a huge sack of douche on the subway, which I am pleased to present here on FIPS:
