One Man's Trash is Another Man's Headache

Residents of 13th street between 3rd and 4th avenues are PISSEDTHEHELLOFF at one of their neighbors, whose inability to throw shit away has turned the block into a giant stink fest. Garbage has been piling up inside the man's apartment, and now it's spilling out of the home and bringing in a barrage of bugs and rats. 

"It's gross. We can't sit out here in the summer time, the stench is horrendous," said neighbor Christy Savas.  "The bugs are out of control, even citronella candles do not help."

The FDNY has visited and demanded the man clean his trash, and the Department of Sanitation has issued a "dirty area summons," but since the property is private there isn't much more they can do. 

Someone wanna' maybe call Hoarders?
