Park Slope: The Epicenter of Passive-Agressive Notes

Park Slope is known for being a pain-in-the-ass about plenty of things (see: EVERY ENTRY ON OUR BLOG). But one trait that's grown exponentially in the past year is the amount of passive-aggressive notes that our fine residents place on everything from trees (replete with bags of dog shit!) to iron gates to other peoples' cars. Just for once -- FOR ONCE -- I would like to see a face-to-face confrontation over these issues. I'm not saying it needs to include lots of screaming and large, exaggerated hand gestures. Nor does it need to get violent. It would just be nice if we could solve our differences using something other than a Sharpie.
