How are you responding personally to the tragedy in Boston?

Image credit: flickr.com/Golbarg Bashi Fine Arts PhotographyAs I sat with friends having coffee this morning, there was definitely a sense of anxiety as a result of the horrific explosions at the Boston Marathon. We all know security is being stepped up around our own city in response to the tragedy -- police cars lined up in Times Square, more searches on the subway -- but are you changing anything about how you'll go about your life in light of these events? Are you avoiding Times Square or Grand Central Station? Should we be more wary of going to large public events, like Googa Mooga or Shakespeare in the Park? Are you more worried about flying? Do you think the city should immediately get rid of all garbage cans that you can't see through?
