We think we found your deep ghost stroller with the Jaimacan flag on it near 10th Street and Prospect Park West.

OK, truth time. Ryan Gosling didn't lose a stroller in Park Slope, and the golden-haired bebe that he's holding is likely a stunt double in his latest film (same hair color!). I just really agree with FiPS's July 25th plea to get some more Hey Girl Food Co-Op posts out into the world. Also, I felt completely comfortable asking such a ridiculous thing because seriously -- WHAT THE HELL IS UP WITH THIS GHOST STROLLER? Or shall I say ghost stroller numero dos? 

FIPS'ters may remember the first Park Slope ghost stroller that popped up on Union Street back in August of 2010. It prompted this article from the New York Times and this post from our fearless founder. With white bikes commemorating bikers who were killed in accidents, some said that the first GS was an artistic representation of the death of a neighborhood lost hopelessly to gentrification and cutesy families and blah blah blah. 

According to the Brooklyn Paper, police have confirmed that this new stoller does not represent the horrific death of any children. Thank God. 

'There were no fatalities in the past month [and] definitely none involving a child or a carriage,' said officer Jerry Galante, a spokesman for the 78th Precinct.

So then what the eff does it mean this time? Is this a statement on the bike lanes? And what's with the Jamaican flag?  

Anybody? Anyone?
