furniture store owner FINALLY agrees to stop selling tables that might kill your child

Remember last week when the owner of local furniture store Trailer Park was accused of selling salvaged-wood furniture riddled with lead, which caused at least one Park Slope tot to be exposed to "excessive" levels of the deadly element? And the owner was all like, meh whatever, telling the Brooklyn Paper,  “If you have a child, and you’re concerned about it, don’t buy it."

Surely after realizing how douchey that sounded, the man updated The Brooklyn paper with his feelings, saying, “This is a big deal to me. “I don’t want to hurt kids — I have kids.” He's now removing all salvaged-wood furniture from the store.

Good move, business owner.
