FiPS Wednesday Pick-Me-Up: Hava Nagila documentary opens Friday

Is it just me, or is this week totally fucking depressing? Between the sequester, The Onion calling a 9 year old a C-U-next-Tuesday, and the horrifying details coming out of the cannibal cop trial, well, I am ready for this week to be o-v-e-r. Fortunately, there is a new documentary opening this Friday on the history of the song Hava Nagila. Harry Belafonte! The Beatles! The Simpsons! Everybody knows Hava Nagila. Just watching the trailer was enough to lift my spirits. On a related note: raise your hand if you've been to a wedding or Bar/Bat Mitzvah where someone fell out of the chair during the hora. Now that shit is funny. As long as no one got hurt. That would be awful. Great, now I'm depressed again. Thanks a lot!
